We are currently working to combine these two vessels into a single seaworthy Sea Spirit.

The Original Sea Spirit - a project boat

Our client, a teacher, has a dream of restoring a Hugh Angelman as he looks forward to retirement. He purchased this vessel based on an original survey, which stated a teak hull. We discovered the hull is NOT teak. In our evaluation, we found extensive rot and damage to the house was not worth the expense of repairs. However, the craft has a good engine and many parts worth salvaging.

The Second Sea Spirit - with better ‘bones’

We located this vessel with nearly identical specs, and proposed to our client that this boat could be the foundation of the renovation. We purchased and trucked the craft to a boatyard community located in Port Townsend, WA. The house and interior are in far better condition. Now both boats are being stored on dry land property, to save expensive shipyard costs as we proceed.
